Argus the only weekly riser

Argus Group Holdings was the only company to boost their overall share performance last week on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index.

The insurance firm saw its share price climb 25 cents (1.67 percent) to finish on $15.25, with a transaction of 20,000 shares over the course of the week.

Belco Holdings was the biggest losers, as its share value plummeted 50 cents (2.33 percent) to end down at $21. A total of 3,200 shares were traded.

Bermuda Aviation Services and Butterfield Bank also lost out by 15 cents (2.4 percent) and five cents (0.26 percent) respectively to close at respective prices of $6.10 and $18.85.

The Index, as a whole, finished down 9.028 points (0.18 percent) at 4,968.88.

The BSX Insurance Index was also down 0.94 percent at 1,196.48.
