Banking sector busiest
Banking was the busiest sector of the week on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index last week.
Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd.'s weighted shares shot up $3.60 (218.18 percent) to close at $5.25, with 732 shares traded.
But, Butterfield Bank went into reverse, dropping 20 cents (1.08 percent) to finish on $18.35, as 72,258 shares changing hands over the course of the week.
KeyTech also boosted its share value by 50 cents (3.23 percent) to close up at $16, with 1,050 shares traded.
Argus Group Holdings were another company to lose out, as its share price came down 75 cents (4.69 percent) to $15.25, as 800 shares were transacted.
Belco Holdings were the only other company to experience any share trading, at 5,008 shares, but its share value held firm at $21.
Overall, the Index finished down 26.489 points (0.53 percent) at 4,965.12, with 79,848 shares worth $1,473,839 traded.
