BAS stocks flying high

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. proved they were the one company going places on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
Their share price climbed 15 cents (2.3 percent) to close at $6.65, as a total of 3,700 shares were traded.
Other significant trades saw 19,114 and 3,400 shares in Butterfield Bank and Bermuda Commerical Bank Ltd, respectively change hands.
Overall, the Index finished up 1.37 points (0.03 percent) at 5,084.44, as $447,735.70 worth of 26,226 shares were traded.
The BSX Insurance Index inched up 0.47 percent to 1,251.83.
