Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. (BAS) saw its stocks take a nosedive on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday.

BAS's share value dropped 15 cents (2.4 percent) to close at $6.10, with 1,000 shares traded.

Meanwhile Butterfield Bank added five cents (0.3 percent) to its share price to finish on $18.90, as 23,400 shares changed hands throughout the day.

KeyTech Ltd. also traded 8,200, but its share price remained unchanged.

The Index as a whole finished up 6.63 points (0.13 percent) at 4,976.54, with 32,600 shares worth $563,175 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index closed down 0.31 percent at 1,207.78.
