BCB leads the way

Bermuda Commercial Bank was the leading trader on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) last week.

The Bank saw its share price climb 60 cents (five percent) to close up at $12.60, with 700 shares traded.

But, BF&M, Belco Holdings and Butterfield Bank all dropped their share values by $1 (4.76 percent), 40 cents (1.87 percent) and five cents (0.28 percent) respectively.

Overall, the Index finished down 24.003 points at 4,890.55, with a total of 62,500 shares worth $1,078,287.95 changing hands throughout the week.
