Bermuda Container Line Ltd. led the way in a busy day on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

Their share price rose 25 cents (1.8 percent) to close at $14.50, as 4,000 shares were traded.

Argus Group Holdings Ltd. also saw their share value increase 25 cents (1.6 percent) to finish up $15.50, as 200 shares changed hands.

Watlington Waterworks Ltd. advanced by five cents per share (0.4 percent) to close at $12.60, with 126 shares traded.

Butterfield Bank, however, experienced a slump as their share price slid five cents (02. percent) to finish at $20.25. They traded a total of 15,175 shares.

Overall the Index rose 2.11 points (0.04 percent) at 5,112.45, as $369,734.70 worth of 19,501 shares were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, took a downturn of 11.83 points (0.94 percent), closing at 1,251.35.
