Belco Holdings Ltd. boosted its share price by $1.30 (6.4 percent) to close up at $21.50 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company traded 1,250 shares throughout the day.

Other traders included Butterfield Bank (11,900 shares) and Stevedoring Services Ltd. (2,972), but both of their share values remained unchanged.

Overall, the Index finished down 1.12 points (0.02 percent) at 5,284.4, with 16,122 shares worth $260,059.50 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index inched up 0.474 percent to 1064.75.
