BELCO Holdings Ltd. lit up a quiet day's trading on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company boosted its share price by 95 cents (4.5 percent) to close up at $21.95, with 900 shares traded.

Butterfield Bank was also a mover, with its share value dropping by five cents (0.3 percent) to finish on $18.60. A total of 1,728 shares changed hands throughout the day.

Overall, the Index closed up 9.47 points (0.19 percent) at 4,978.09.

The BSX Insurance Index also inched up 1.32 percent to 1,187.49.
