BELCO Holdings lit up the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) as its share value gained $1 (five percent) yesterday.

Their share price closed on $21, with 4,126 shares traded.

Meanwhile, in contrast, Butterfield Bank finished down 10 cents (0.5 percent) at $20.40, as 37,900 shares changed hands.

As a whole, the market was up 2.40 points (0.05 percent) at 5,120.50.

A total of 42,026 shares were traded, with a turnover of $860,046.

The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1,205.73, a change of 0.16 percent.
