BF&M Ltd. climbed 50 cents (2.3 percent) to close up at $22.45 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The insurance company also traded 2,366 shares.

Butterfield Bank and Belco Holdings Ltd. experienced some movement, with 19,627 and 1,000 shares respectively changing hands, but their share value held firm.

Overall, the Index finished up 13.61 points (0.26 percent) at 5,278.22, with 22,993 shares worth $429,998 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, dropped 9.19 points (0.85 percent) to end the day on 1,072.83
