BF&M rises further

BF&M Ltd. continued its impressive streak of trading, up for the third day running this week on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The insurance company's stock price jumped another 90 cents (4.5 percent) to close up at $20.90, with 6,744 shares traded.

KeyTech also bounced back following a disappointing start to the week, climbing $2.50 (19.6 percent) to finish on $15.25, as 200 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank traded the most shares during the day, at 27,900, but its share value remained unchanged at $17.40.

As a whole, the Index was up slightly by 71.45 points (1.52 percent) at 4,777.94.

A total of 34,844 shares worth $623,930 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index was also up 1.92 percent at 1,130.89.
