BF&M shares drop

BF&M Ltd. saw its share price drop on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) on the same day that Glenn Titterton announced his intention to step down as chairman of the board of directors and the company posted a 15 percent increase in its net earnings.
The insurance company's share value fell 50 cents (2.3 percent) to close at $21.50, with 5,200 shares traded.
Other traders included Butterfield Bank (2,800 shares), Argus Group Holdings Ltd. (61), Bermuda Container Line Ltd. (60) and Belco Holdings Ltd. (40).
The Index, as a whole, was down 7.3 points (0.14 percent) at 5,113.69, as 8,161 shares worth $163,966 changed hands.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 0.11 percent at 1,070.92.
