BF&M Ltd. proved their value on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday as the only company to experience a change in its share price.

Their share value climbed 95 cents (five percent) to close up at $19.95, with 2,500 shares traded.

Butterfield Bank was also active in the share trading stakes, as 5,275 shares changed hands throughout the day, while BELCO Holdings Ltd. traded 600.

The Index rose 12.60 points (0.25 percent) to finish on 5,140.37, with a total of 8,375 shares worth $164,482.80 being traded.

The BSX Insurance Index continued its steady growth, increasing 0.47 percent to close at 1,306.15.
