BSX edges down

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) suffered a poor day's trading yesterday as it closed well off its all-time high.
The Index finished on 5,303.33, down 26.65 points (0.50 percent), with a total of 39,383 shares changing hands and a turnover of $1,875.424.60.
Butterfield Bank was the only company to see its share price affected, as the value slipped 50 cents to $63.50 following the trading of 26,465 shares.
Belco Holdings Ltd. traded 168 shares as its value held firm at $21.70, as did KeyTech Ltd., whose activities saw 12,750 shares change hands to close at $15.
The BSX Insurance Index closed down at 1,203.59, slumping 1.02 percent (12.38 points).
