BSX gains ground

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) closed up for the week at 5,142.40.Belco was the only company to benefit from trading on Friday, with the utilities company seeing its share price rise 25 cents (1.2 percent) to close at $21.25, with 600 shares traded.But, Butterfield Bank lost out, dropping 50 cents (2.7 percent) to finish on $18, as 29,700 shares changed hands.

But, Butterfield Bank lost out, dropping 50 cents (2.7 percent) to finish on $18, as 29,700 shares changed hands.
Overall, the Index declined 83.33 points (1.59 percent) , with 600 shares worth $12,700 traded, to close down at 5,142.40 for the week
The BSX Insurance Index, meanwhile, inched up 1.06 percent to 1,118.97.
