BSX moving on up

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) advanced 7.96 points (0.16 percent) to close at 5,093.88 yesterday.
A total of 1,600 shares worth $30,440 were traded throughout the day.
BF&M Ltd. were the only company to see any change as their share value increased by 60 cents (3.3 percent) to finish at $19, as 1,500 shares changed hands.
Butterfield Bank were also active in the share trading stakes, transacting a volume of 100, but their share price remained unaffected.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, in contrast dropped 2.46 percent to close at 1,240.54.
