BSX on the decline
The Royal Gazette/ Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) continued to decline as it lost a further 15.99 points (0.31 percent) to close at 5,072.67 yesterday.
A total of 98,050 shares were traded, with a turnover of $1,910,592.50.
Butterfield Bank was the main player on the Index, with its share value dropping 10 cents (0.5 percent) to finish at $20.05 as 83,750 shares changed hands.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd. traded 12,300 shares, with BELCO Holdings Ltd. not far behind with a transaction of 2,000 shares.
The BSX Insurance Index also went into reverse, by 0.04 percent to finish at 1,246.01.
CLSA Financial Products, Ltd. has advised of a cash dividend distribution of one of the certificates issued under its $7.5 billion Asian Securities Programme.
A cash dividend payment of USD 0.050251 per certificate of shares in the Indian-listed company Educomp Solutions Ltd. will be paid on October 2 to holders of both the 144A and RegS certificates.
