The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) traded a total of 21,120 shares worth $393,398 yesterday.

Despite the large transaction of shares, the index remained unchanged to close at 4,978.95.

Of those companies to trade any shares, were Butterfield Bank (21,020) and Devonshire Industries Ltd. (100), but their share values both held up at $18.65 and $13.75 respectively.

The BSX Insurance Index crept up 3.45 points (029 percent) to close at 1,188.61.
