BSX slides behind

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) slid back 7.99 points (0.15 percent) to close on 5,267.67 yesterday.

A total of 30,535 shares were traded, with a turnover of $587,310.25.

Butterfield Bank was the only company to see an change in their share value, as they finished at $21.05, down five cents (0.2 percent), with 25,035 shares changing hands.

LOM (Holdings) Ltd. and Argus Group Holdings Ltd. also traded 2,000 and 3,500 shares respectively.

The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1,191.61, representing a change of (minus) -2.5 percent.
