BSX takes tumble

The Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) took a tumble after a turbulent day's trading yesterday.The Index lost 47.13 points (0.89 percent) to close at 5,269.48, more than 110 points below the all-time high.A total of 26,299 shares were traded, with a turnover of $1,619,739.

The insurance sector proved to be the most productive, as BF&M Ltd. rose 25 cents (1.4 percent) to $18.50, with 600 shares changing hands.
KeyTech were the biggest losers, with $1 falling off their share price as it closed down at $14.50, while Butterfield Bank also lost 50 cents from their value, which finished on $62.75.
The BSX Insurance Index suffered a similar fate, closing at 1,197.93, representing a change of 0.65 percent.
