Butterfield Bank boosted its share price further by 85 cents (4.9 percent) to close at $18.25 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank also traded 51,004 throughout the day.

As a whole, the Index finished up 135.89 points (2.85 percent) at 4,897.57, with 51,004 shares worth $921,797.20 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index was also in the positive by 0.65 percent at 1,121.90.
