Butterfield Bank saw its share price drop back 10 cents (0.6 percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank, which had just gained 10 cents the previous day, closed down at $18, with 18,723 shares traded.

The Index, as a whole, was also down 17.50 points (0.34 percent) at 5,120.41, as 18,723 shares worth $337,014 changed hands.

Meanwhile, the BSX Insurance Index edged up 1.12 percent to finish on 1,140.04.
