Butterfield Bank dropped 10 cents (0.6 percent) to close at $18 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 22,017 shares throughout the course of the day.

The Index, as a whole, also declined 17.59 points (0.33 percent) to finish on 5,244.81, with 22,017 shares worth $397,502.70 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 19.82 points (1.88 percent) at 1,074.48.
