KeyTech on the up
KeyTech Ltd. were the big winners on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
The utilities company saw its share price soar by $2.45 (19.2 percent) to close at $15.20, with 1,200 shares traded.
Butterfield Bank, however, dropped five cents (0.3 percent) to finish lower on $17.60, as 29,810 shares changed hands.
Insurers Argus Group Holdings Ltd. and BF&M Ltd. both traded 4,100 and 20 shares respectively, while Watlington Waterworks Ltd. and Belco Holdings Ltd. transacted 100 and 35 shares respectively, but all of their share values remained the same.
As a whole, the Index was up 49.52 points (0.96 percent) to close at 5,195.38, as 35,265 shares worth $612,271.50 changed hands.
The BSX Insurance Index inched up 0.814 percent to finish on 1044.69.
