The consumer sector was where all the big movers were on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
Kentucky Fried Chicken Bermuda boosted its share value by $1 (0.17 percent) to close up at $7, with 600 shares traded, while Devonshire Industries Ltd. dropped 25 cents (0.2 percent) to finish on $13.50, as 1,200 shares changed hands throughout the day.
BF&M Ltd. and Butterfield Bank both increased their share price by $1 (0.05 percent) and five cents respectively, to close at $21 and $18.55.
They traded 2,000 and 17,478 shares respectively.
As a whole, the Index was up 22.17 points (0.44 percent) at 5,013.77, with a total of 21,278 shares worth $386,421.90 traded.
