Mixed fortunes on the BSX
It was a week of mixed fortunes on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) last week.
Four companies improved their share price, while another three saw their value drop.
Among the top performers were KeyTech and Belco Holdings, whose share values climbed $1 (7.69 percent) and 50 cents (2.38 percent) to close up at $14 and $21.50 respectively.
Devonshire Industries and Argus Group also experienced a positive change, as their share prices rose incrementally by 25 cents (1.69 percent) and 10 cents (0.67 percent) to finish on $13.50 and $15 respectively.
But, going the other way, Bermuda Commercial Bank and BF&M lost $1.90 (13.67 percent) and $1.45 (7.25 percent) to close at $12 and $18.55.
Overall, the Index finished down 28.808 points (0.58 percent) at 4,977.91, with a total of 71,788 shares worth $1,150,053.40 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1,196.42.
