It proved to be a quiet day on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index yesterday, with 8,877 shares worth $156,528.90 changing hands.

Of those, Butterfield Bank traded 8,457, Argus Group Holdings Ltd. 400, and BF&M Ltd. 20, but none of the companies saw their share prices change.

The Index as a whole also remained the same at 5,154.65.

The BSX Insurance Index dropped 0.78 percent to finish on 1,059.52.
