Tough day for BF&M

BF&M Ltd. suffered the biggest losses on a tough day's trading on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
Their share price dropped $1.55 (7.8 percent) to close at $18.40, with 1,500 shares traded.
Butterfield Bank also experienced a downturn as their share value dwindled by 15 cents (0.8 percent) to finish at $19.40. A total of 8,150 shares changed hands.
The Index as a whole dropped 44.54 points (0.87 percent) to close down at 5,085.92, as 9,650 shares worth $186,500 were traded.
But, following its good work in recent days, the BSX Insurance Index slid back 0.52 percent to 1,281.07.
