services firm, is taking AIMS at the Island's insurance market.

AIMS is the acronym for the firm's Bermuda-based Actuarial and Insurance Management Solutions group, which is to be headed by Simon Lambert, FIA, the firm announced this week.

Mr. Lambert has spent the last two-and-a-half years as a consulting actuary in the London market, engaged in an actuarial capacity for several of the leading property/casualty insurers in the UK and Europe. Prior to that experience, he had been working with Royal Sun Alliance. At the Bermuda AIMS group, Mr.

Lambert will join Susan Harris, formerly part of PwC's Dallas actuarial group.

Mr. Lambert described himself as "excited'' about his new position. "It may surprise many in the industry here to learn that the AIMS group is the third largest actuarial consulting practice in the US and worldwide,'' he said.
