Barrington, a local investment firm, has always traded derivative products, but the position of options strategist is new to the company.

Prior to joining Barrington Mr. Allaire was the senior staff instructor at the Options Institute of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. From 1986 to 1992 he was the options product manager at Richardson Greenshields of Canada Ltd.
