Argus sets three-year high: WEEKLY STOCKS UPDATE

Argus set a three-year high of $12.50, up 75 cents from a week earlier, but the gain did not offset declines in the banking sector as the BSX Index fell 6.62 points closing at 914.80.

Argus set a three-year high of $12.50, up 75 cents from a week earlier, but the gain did not offset declines in the banking sector as the BSX Index fell 6.62 points closing at 914.80.
Bank of Butterfield and Bermuda Commercial Bank both fell 50 cents closing at $9 and $3.75 respectively. The latter set a 52-week low while trading in the former was heavy.
Bank of Bermuda was up 12.5 cents at $17. Bermuda Home was unchanged. Also unchanged were; Bermuda Press (Holdings), TeleBermuda, BAS and Telco.
Total volume was $836,259, almost four times last week's.
