But the BSX index fell back 8.87 points to close at 899.12 on a share volume of 37,266 valued at $371,120.75.

Decliners were led by the Bank of Bermuda, down $0.375 on a volume of 2,603, to close at $16.375. The only other decliner was BAS, down 50 cents to $3.50 on a volume of 6,444.

Three other issues traded and closed unchanged. Bank of Butterfield remained at $9 on volume of 8,000; Bermuda Home stayed at $7 after trading involving 1,776 shares and 300 Belco shares traded as the price remained at $19. ---- Chart, Page 34
