*** CAPUTO TO TAKE CHARGE OF NEW RIO OFFICE APP BUC Caputo to take charge of new Rio office Latin American Re , formed in 1997 with the assistance of XL Capital and Risk Capital Re, has announced that Carlos Alberto Caputo has been named regional managing director in charge of the new Rio de Janeiro office, extending its operations in the burgeoning Brazilian marketplace. Mr. Caputo joins the company after a 14-year career in reinsurance with the Aon Group in Brazil.
