BF&M preferred, Staples preferred and Bermuda Commercial Bank also declined.

Bank of Butterfield and Bermuda Home gained.

Belco, Telco, Bank of Bermuda, Argus and BAS were unchanged.

The index gained 3.38 points closing at 967.90.

Share volume was 91,308 worth $1.2 million.
