Zoom commits to Bermuda
Zoom Airlines have quashed rumours it will stop running flights to Bermuda, with the launch of a new schedule for May to October 2008 expected in the next 10 days.
Jonathan Hinkles, managing director of Zoom Airlines, claimed the low cost airline was waiting on the release of the new runway schedule - due within the week - before drawing up its own flight schedule for the middle part of next year.
And he said Zoom has turned the corner and is now going from strength to strength following a bit of a turbulent start earlier this year after suffering a number of delays.
"What is happening at the moment is that we normally put up most of our released schedules in blocks and I think it will be released in the next 10 days," he said.
"The flights will be between May and October and we will do twice-a-week services over the course of next summer."
