Accountancy pupils honoured
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bermuda over the weekend.
Mr. Leonard Aitken, Mrs. Nives (Salini) Filice and Mrs. Samantha Froud have all passed the Uniform Final Examination set by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
In order to earn their designation as chartered accountants the trio had to complete a demanding postgraduate educational programme and supervised training in the offices of local practising companies.
Mr. Aitken attended the Whitney Institute and Bermuda College where he graduated with a diploma in business studies. He works for Cooper & Lines.
Also working for Cooper & Lines, Mrs. Filice was a student at the Bermuda High School for Girls.
Mrs. Froud completed her secondary education at Warwick Academy. She is employed by Scott Hunter & Co.
A luncheon was held in their honour at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club.
