Other banking sector activity included the Bank of Bermuda closing down 50 cents at $28 on a volume of 4,205; Bermuda Home closing down $0.125 at $8.75 on a volume of 2,318; and, Bermuda Home 8% Pref. closing up $0.125 at $11.625 on volume of 8,738.

Belco Holdings Ltd. remained unchanged at $24 on a volume of 781, while Bermuda Telephone Co. Ltd. closed up 25 cents at $32.50 on a volume of 5,676.

Consumer, insurance, real estate and transportation stocks were idle.
