Association's 20th anniversary banquet held on Saturday night at Marriott's Castle Harbour Resort.

Keynote speaker, lawyer, politician and airman Dudley Joseph Thompson QC, former Jamaican High Commissioner to Nigeria, told the gala that it only takes one individual to make a difference. He cited the example of Rosa Parks whose refusal to bow to racist convention is credited with igniting the American civil rights movement.

"Freedom is yours,'' he told the 300-strong crowd which included Premier Dr.

David Saul, Leader of the Opposition Jennifer Smith, and leading members of the Islands's judiciary. "Freedom is something born with you; it's not for someone to grant it to you.'' "Like Rosa Parks it only takes one person, one idea to move mountains and to create unity throughout the community. Individuals working together are just that much stronger,'' he said.
