`Lean on Me' school principal set to visit

Mr. Clark's work in transforming an inner city public school won him nationwide recognition in the United States. He has been featured as the cover story for Time Magazine, two 60 Minutes profiles and the Warner Brothers film Lean On Me, was based on his life.

Bermuda has now been added to Mr. Clarke's lecture circuit and he will speak at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium on November 9 at 6.30 p.m..

Mr. Clarke's Bermuda engagement comes as a result of the efforts of PARENTS -- Parent Awareness Resources for Educating and nurturing Training Skills, with some aid from the Bermuda Union of Teachers.

Tickets for the event are $10 for students and $15 for adults and are available at the PARENTS and BUT offices.
