New council members for the BSX

Butterfield Asset Management Ltd. managing director Peter Wignall replaces Charles Gunn, a former BSX chairman, as a Bank of Butterfield representative.

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. president and CEO E. Eugene Bean replaces Bermuda Electric Light Company Ltd. president and CEO Garry Madeiros as the council's domestic company representative. Mr. Bean remains BSX listing committee chairman.

Bermuda Commercial Bank managing director Audette Exel remains council chairman while Bank of Bermuda president and CEO Charles Vaughan-Johnson and Bank of Butterfield president and CEO Michael Collier remain deputy chairmen.

"The council continues to have representatives from each of the main constituencies of users of the market so that we receive advise from all sectors affected by the stock exchange,'' BSX CEO and council member William Woods said.

Other council members include Bermuda Commercial Bank general manager Dominique Smith, Bank of Bermuda senior vice president Peter Mellor, First Bermuda Financial Services Ltd. CEO Jeffrey Conyers, Appleby, Spurling & Kempe senior partner John Campbell, Anfossi & Butterfield (Deloitte & Touche) partner senator Terry Lister, Mutual Risk Management Ltd. chairman and CEO Robert Mulderig and Sculley Brothers president Arthur Sculley.
