Card payment provider, Bermuda Financial Network announced yesterday it would be providing the service, which will post payments to customer accounts on the same business day.

The service will be offered to customers with cards issued in Bermuda, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

According to Bermuda Financial Network their customers will have lower costs by signing up with them.

The bank drafts cost $6 plus a foreign exchange and conversion rate of 0.68 percent, while the card payment provider will charge $3 and an administration fee of 0.6 percent.

"In addition, now that we have launched Easypay, customers can now pay Amex bills online,'' said a Bermuda Financial Network spokesman. He added: "It is about saving the customer time and money.'' Bermuda Financial Network issues gold, green and corporate American Express Cards on the Island.
