Bermuda catastrophe reinsurer CAT Ltd. may return to the capital markets next year to resume its aborted bid to supplement cat cover capacity through the issue of catastrophe bonds related to hurricane activity.

But it will await the completion of January renewals in its core business line before considering its next step in the capital markets.
