TBI rolls out new products
with computers to use them as a fax and answering machine.
TBI Connect was launched this month and promises the customer to be able to have a fax and answering machine as well as e-mail and telephone all on one line.
James Fitzgerald, chief executive officer of TBI, said: "You will be able to save your voice mail on your computer and also have text messages sent and mechanically read to you as a voice message.
"It will mean you can dial in and read your messages from your e-mail through an electronic voice.'' The service is downloaded onto a PC and would have a monthly charge from TBI for the service.
The other service launched was the introduction of a pre-paid calling card which will be able to be used from October 10 from 84 countries.
Previously the card could only be used in Bermuda, the US, the UK and Canada.
Mr. Fitzgerald said: "You could call from Israel and get connected to the rest of the world.''
