Voyager joins BSX as listing sponsor

Voyager provides fund start-up and advisory services to the market. Company principal Paul Lemmon said Voyager has already lined up ten mutual funds for listing on the BSX. Voyager has also signed a contract with a company to list under the BSX's mezzanine market category.

The mezzanine market is designed as a venue for start-up companies considering an initial public offering in the future.

"We expect to list about 30 to 50 funds on the BSX in our first year of operation,'' Mr. Lemmon said. "There are also a large number of companies which want to make a listing under the mezzanine market category.'' The BSX new listings category is designed for firms which want to sponsor new listings of mutual funds, Eurobonds, depository receipts, and secondary listings on the exchange. The category is aimed at law firms, accounting firms, fund managers, trust companies and other service providers to industry.

There are currently 105 funds lists on the BSX.

Mr. Lemmon also co-owns Voyager Management (Bermuda) Ltd. which runs the Voyager Select IPO Fund.

"We believe we will also be able to provide substantial benefit to Bermuda and its various service providers thorugh our introduction of new business to Bermuda,'' he said.
