Weekend flights full
weekend? Forget it. Unless your planning to leave the Island by boat or hot air balloon you're stuck.
All major airlines flying into the United States and Canada are booked solid, with the exception of USAir, which has three seats open for tomorrow's flights into Philadelphia and Baltimore.
"Normally it's not that booked,'' said a spokesman at American Airlines, whose two daily departures to New York are sold out for today and tomorrow.
It's the same story with Continental's daily flight into Newark, New Jersey, although there are open seats on the Saturday flight.
Delta's flights to Atlanta and Boston and Air Canada's flights are also booked solid.
Only USAir, with three openings as of yesterday, could jet you off the Island tomorrow. A spokesman said there was one seat empty on its Baltimore flight and two open for Philadelphia.
WARWICK FORUM CON Warwick forum Beyond Barriers is holding a community dialogue in conjunction with the Parent Teacher Association of Warwick Secondary School on the theme "it takes a whole village to raise a child''.
Feeder schools for Warwick Secondary and Warwick Academy have been invited.
The general public is also welcome to attend at the school's auditorium this evening at 7 p.m.
