The Bermuda Stock Exchange index will open 17.912 points higher this morning than it did a week ago, a change of 1.82 percent.

The BSX Index closed on Friday at 985.27, as one issue advanced and three declined.

Total share volume for the week of 38,181 was valued at BD$528,146.88, while 1,630 bonds were valued at US$163,407.50.

Bank of Bermuda led the way with 13,630 shares trading, as the price closed with no change at $18.75. Bank of Butterfield was also even for the week at $9.75 on volume of 4,103.

Bermuda Bakery was down $1.375 at $18 on a volume of 528, Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. was down 25 cents at $8.50 on trading of 135. Argus stock remain at $10.875 after 9,095 shares changed hands.
