NEW YORK (AP) - Bermuda-based Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. said it agreed to repurchase $100 million worth of shares from management fund Candover Partners Ltd. and Candover's employee trust.

The 4.1 million shares are part of Aspen's $300 million share buyback programme.

In a separate transaction, London-based Candover Partners will sell about two million Aspen shares in a public offering.

Aspen provides property and casualty insurance among other services.
