NEW YORK (Bloomberg) - Axis Capital Holdings Ltd., the Bermuda-based property and casualty insurer, said Frank Tasco will step down as a director.

Mr. Tasco's retirement is effective May 6, the date of the company's annual meeting, the firm said today in a regulatory filing.
