Bermuda Container Line Ltd. saw its stock price drop nearly 14 percent yesterday.

The company, which saw 1,000 shares swap hands, finished the day at $11.25, down $1.75 from the previous day.

Butterfield Bank and Belco Holdings Ltd also saw their share prices fall, 20 cents and 10 cents respectively. The bank finished the day at $14.75 while the utility company closed at $21.40.

BF&M Ltd. was the only company to see an increase in its share price on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday, it finished at $20, up 40 cents.

The Index as a whole saw 10,370 shares traded yesterday and closed at 4,571.91 — down 40 points and paring some of the 2.6-percent gains it made on Thursday.

The Bermuda Insurance Index closed at 984.70, a 0.61 percent increase.
