A Guernsey resident captive insurance consultant, Callum Beaton, who does business in Bermuda, has been awarded the Chartered Insurance Institute's Rutter Medal. The medal, presented annually, is awarded to the best qualifying new Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and is accompanied by a cash prize of £1,000.

Mr. Beaton has held senior positions in the captive insurance management sector for over 15 years of a career spanning 30 years.

His business, Callum Beaton (Insurance Consulting) Ltd., focuses on considering the most appropriate international solution for a client rather than selling the captive as a one size fits all response.
